Fall Study:      Saving Grace: A Guide to Financial Well-Being

“Money…is it good or is it bad?  How do we, as people of faith, create healthy relationships with money and possessions?  Saving Grace: A Guide to Financial Well-Being, adapted from the best-selling Freed-up Financial Living curriculum from Good Sense, provides the text and tools you need to address the topics of saving, earning, giving, spending, and debt, along with helpful strategies for achieving a sustainable financial life.  This six-part study is based on Wesleyan values and helps you reach personal financial goals as well as address life concerns.”

Stop the Bleed free class on September 27th 6pm at Vanderbilt Fire Hall!
Adults and high school students around the county are welcome to attend.  No previous medical experience needed. Participants will receive a free tourniquet, as supplies last.

The general public (with little or no medical training) will be taught how to recognize life threatening bleeding when they see it, intervene by packing a wound or applying a tourniquet, and save a life…all in one hour!

6:00 pm Wednesday Night Live – Fellowship Hall, RESUMES August 25th!
Meal then games and classes for 3rd-5th graders6th-12th graders, and Pre-K – 2nd graders* to help them grow in their faith.  If you would like to provide the meal, please contact the church office.

The “Soul Food Thursday” program, provided by the Fellowship and Nurture Committees and the Wesley Nurse program, meets each 1st Thursday each month.  [take-out only until further notice ]   

Lunch in take-out containers ready at 11:30am.  A printed devotional is available with each lunch.

This is open to the community!  All are invited to attend!  If you are interested in receiving, PLEASE contact the church office at 782-3561 by Monday prior to the lunch, so we are able to prepare enough food to accommodate those interested!
