United Methodist Women

The Purpose

The organized unit of the United Methodist Women shall be a

community of women whose purpose is to know God and experience

freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative,

supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through

participation in the global ministries of the church.

The purpose of the UMW is carried out through Circle Groups. You are

invited to participate in any of these circle groups:

United Methodist Men

The United Methodist Men gather for Breakfast and Fellowship.

Please join the men on the third Tuesday of the month to fill your hunger.

Methodist Youth Fellowship

First United Methodist Church recognizes how important the middle and high school years are. They are a time of challenge, change, fun, and confusion as our youth investigate who they are in the Lord. Methodist Youth Fellowship helps teens on that journey of self-discovery. Our youth are vibrant members of the church community.

The Youth Group is a very active part of the church. All kids in Jr High and High School are invited to participate in all the activities. We are so proud of our youth. They have worked hard to launch a youth praise music band and grow their Wednesday night class to involve several youth from the community.

Wesley Nurse Program

Wesley Nurse Health Ministries offers resources for

living through its specialized nurses. They are a resource to

make and facilitate connections with local public and non-profit

services and facilities so that the specific type of assistance

needed can be provided.
